Share a route with your crew

Every solved route gets a link. Sending it is the fastest way to get a navigator arguing with your routing, which is the point.

What the link contains

The course, the boat's performance as a track, the forecast model and cycle it was computed against, the waypoints, and the whole isochrone display. Opening it reproduces what you saw.

What it does not contain

Your polar. A pasted polar is temporary and an explicitly saved polar remains private to its owner. Either way, the route carries only a digest, so whoever opens the link sees what the boat did and cannot recover the numbers behind it. See performance models.

Who can open it

Anyone holding the link. The token is unguessable, but it is a capability, not a password. There is no login on it and no way to revoke it short of letting it expire. Treat it the way you would treat the route itself.

How long it lasts

Seven days anonymous, 30 signed in, 90 on credits, a year on Pro. After that the link returns "expired" rather than "not found", so a crew member following an old link is told what happened rather than left wondering whether they mistyped it.

Exports

For anything that has to outlive the link, export it. GPX loads into a chartplotter or nav software; CSV opens in a spreadsheet for the leg-by-leg numbers. Both are files you own, with no expiry.
